My husband is an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer and works for a huge American construction, mining, manufacture company. So, saying that, he is a problem solver, very analytical, detailed oriented, strong math, and science skills, and wants to make a difference. He articulates very well and has a HUGE vocabulary, (I’ve always said he uses five-dollar words for fifty cent meanings) a left-brain thinker.
Saying that, he’s very caring, modest, humble, jovial, fun loving, and very romantic (you’ll understand later… a little 50 shades, before the books). Not the typical Engineer personality. He would have loved to be a professional student but continues to learn to this very day. His interests are anything to do with science, space, mathematics, technology, and music (you’ll see that later, too). He loves teaching the family something new if we give him the time.
At the timeframe of the texts was 2006, we had been married 18 years. Our children were 16 & 14 years old, both in high school. We had just bought our first cell phones for the family.
My husband at work one day stared pondering about life as he was in the restroom. This continued until he started texting me his random thoughts. This continued for several years. These texts are humorous, thought provoking, entertaining, and some can be dirty! After several months of this texting, I started saving them. Since we are both retired now, married for 36 years, and the children are adults, it’s time for these once random texts to be shared!
